This is a list of immortal characters.

Introduced in the 1980s

  • Connor MacLeod (Highlander)

Introduced in the 1990s

  • Fergus and Downy McDuck, the parents of Scrooge McDuck (they are immortal in the 2017 animated series DuckTales)
  • Hob Gadling was born in the 14th century but is still alive in modern days, because Death herself will not take him unless he wants it (Sandman)
  • Tails has infinite lives in the two-player mode (Sonic the Hedgehog 2)

Introduced in the 2000s

  • Claire Bennet and Adam Monroe, whose regenerative powers prevent them from aging and let them recover from most injuries (Heroes)
  • Jackie Chan, Jade, Uncle, and Shendu are shown using the Dog Talisman at some points, which causes the user to become immortal and protected from harm; additionally, the dog Scruffy later becomes immortal when the power of the talisman is transferred to him (Jackie Chan Adventures)
  • John Oldman is an immortal man, originally a caveman that is still alive in modern days (The Man from Earth)
