- Jackie Chan, Jade, Uncle, and Shendu are shown using the Dog Talisman at some points, which causes them to become immortal and protected from harm; additionally, the dog Scruffy later becomes immortal when the power of the talisman is transferred to him (Jackie Chan Adventures)
- John Oldman is an immortal man, originally a caveman that is still alive in modern days (The Man from Earth)
- Sōsuke Aizen is said to be immortal (Bleach)
