How to unlock:
Complete the Break the Targets
with all 8 starter characters, then
defeat Luigi on Peach's Castle stage
Pokémon franchise
How to unlock:
Complete the 1P Game
with any character, then defeat
Jigglypuff on Saffron City stage
F-Zero franchise
How to unlock:
Complete the 1P game in under 20 minutes,
with no continues, then defeat
Captain Falcon on Planet Zebes stage
Mother franchise (EarthBound)
How to unlock:
Complete the 1P Game with
normal or higher difficulty, then
defeat Ness on Dream Land stage
