Spoilers

It could be just me, but I don't mind when people tell me spoilers about films and stuff. Anyway, maybe some other people don't like spoilers.

Looks like our current lists have a few spoilers.

• The list of blind characters has some sighted characters that get blinded at some point in the story.
• The list of time travelers has some people revealed to be time travelers a bit late in the story.
• I'm guessing that most if not all current and future lists have potential to contain some spoilers.

This is what some other websites do, as far as I know:

• Wikipedia has no spoiler warnings. (according to Wikipedia:Spoiler)
• TV Tropes hides spoilers, and we have to click on them to see them, or change a setting to make them all visible.
• I think some other wikis simply have no spoiler warning as well.
• Some wikis seem to have lots of spoiler warnings... basically spoiler warnings every page.

As mentioned in Wikipedia:Spoiler, "academic, scholarly, or other professional publications that describe or analyze works of fiction" don't have spoiler warnings. I think it's also interesting that Wikipedia:Spoiler mentions the question of adding or not a spoiler warning to Three Little Pigs.

Personally, I think the result looks good so far. The list of time travelers is simply supposed to have all time travelers, and that's it. So I would suggest just keeping the lists as they are. I'm not really suggesting any change at the moment, I'm just commenting on the current situation. Admins

Currently I'm the only admin of this wiki.

Some admin powers include:

• Deleting and restoring pages, and viewing deleted pages.
• Protecting and unprotecting pages (this basically means the pages are locked so most people can't edit and/or move them), as well as editing and moving protected pages.
• Blocking and unblocking people (like in cases of vandalism).

As a plan for the future, we should probably have an admin nomination process. We can do it like this: Anyone can be nominated to become an admin, and other people can vote on their nomination.

Maybe not right now because our community is small yet, and the website is still pretty new, but we can do this at some point. :) --DanielCM (talk) 00:16, 21 May 2021 (-03)
