- Korben Dallas and Leeloo (The Fifth Element)
Introduced in the 2000s
- Brendan or May (the player character) saves the world from Kyogre's heavy rain and/or Groudon's harsh sunlight (Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire)
- Susan Murphy / Ginormica, B.O.B, Dr. Cockroach, Missing Link, and Insectosaurus save the world from the alien Gallaxhar (Monsters vs. Aliens)
